Paper Title
Dynamic Renting and Cloud Environment For Guaranteed Quality of Service and Profit Maximization
Abstract
Cloud computing is a demanding technology to share resources like hardwares, software applications,
databases and storage over the internet. Our contribution in this paper is to create dynamism in renting resources based on
deadline in dynamic cloud environment. The service provider resources are reconfigurable with different parameters like
number of servers, speed of servers and deadline for the analysis of profit. To achieve dynamic service M/M/m+D queuing
model is used and factors that effect the profit values like average charge, the ratio of requests that need temporary servers
are analyzed. Optimal configuration problem of service provider for profit maximization is formulated. Result analysis
shows service profits obtained for dynamic renting of resources in dynamic cloud environment is high compared to static
cloud environment.
